At school we were taught that borders, along with limits, are fundamental elements in the conformation of the territory of the National State.
But when we get closer to the place and step on that border, we see that it is a more complex territory.
From a distance we can comment, theorize, judge, respond with conviction to the dilemmas that those who are in another territory are going through… But how do you interact with the border when it is just a few steps away? What is the way to live it? And how does it govern the daily life of those who live there?
This documentary seeks to show a small experience on the northern border of the Argentine Republic, a country that presents unique complexities considering its geography and the problems that attack it. Drug trafficking, marginality and smuggling are some of the themes for which this piece invites you to immerse yourself.
