” The Mythology of Fire ” is a short romantic film with the theme of magical realism. In another world, the abducted crazy woman named Axi meets the man known as Gan Ge, a patient with ALS who committed suicide by throwing herself into the sea. During their relationship, Axi helped Gan Ge unravel his problems and unlock his heart, then Gan Ge was determined to help Axi find a way back home. But on the way the two were looking for their relatives, Gan Ge’s condition became more and more worse. The indifference of Axi’s relatives made Axi finally choose to go back to Gan Ge’s original residence with Gan Ge and spend the rest of his life with him.
