A day in the life of Olga, an old Russian woman who lives in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn (Little Odessa). She plays accordion on a subway platform to earn a little money. She meets a younger acquaintance on the ride back from Manhattan who drags her for company at a Boardwalk restaurant. They share their worries and dreams. Olga returns to her sick husband, Misha, whom she can’t change, but loves nevertheless. And then….another day.
