The setting is Suzu City, Ishikawa Prefecture. On May 5, 2023, at around 14:42, the “Reiwa 5 Noto Earthquake” struck the Okunoto region of Ishikawa Prefecture, recording a maximum seismic intensity of 6+. The town was aiming for recovery from the earthquake’s damage. The festival-loving locals somehow managed to make their festival a success and began their path to recovery.
