Film Description:

This is an unconventional music video (MUSIC VIDEO) inspired by the album What a Wild Ride by the band WildRide. By deconstructing several tracks from the album, rearranging audio layers, and incorporating new samples, the film creates a unique soundtrack that conveys the album’s core concept. Through a narrative-driven short story, the film transforms the album’s themes into a vivid visual experience.

The film is directed by GERHAN, an ethnic minority artist from China, specifically of Mongolian descent. Together with the band members, who are also from minority backgrounds, GERHAN uses modern visuals and music to reflect on the struggles faced by their cultures. In a world where minority cultures are increasingly commercialized, this film becomes not just a visual representation of music but also a profound exploration of cultural identity, internal conflict, and existential reflection.
