„On the edge – Witold K.” Is a documentary movie about art and life of polish-american visual artist Witold Kaczanowski. Witold was born in 1932 in Warsaw. His father was a director of Mental Hospital in Tworki near Warsaw, where artist spent his childhood under German Nazi occupation. In 1964 he smuggled manuscripts of dissident writers from Poland and the Soviet Union into the West and for doing that he was not allowed to return to Poland for many years. In 1967 Pablo Picasso painted his portrait. Artist moved to United States in 1968.
