Film Description:

More than 3,000 refugees from the Kachin ethnic group in northern Myanmar fled to Lanapa on the border with China in 2011 as the civil war continued over resource allocation. The film focuses on a 20-year-old girl in a refugee camp who is a junior leader in the camp and works as an unpaid tutor for refugee children. The film objectively records the process of the producer’s fieldwork, recording the relocation of the camp, the Camp Christmas, the camp funeral and so on. It attempts to record the real life in the refugee camp of Lanapa by video, showing the strength of human existence, the weight of faith and the hope for peace.
