About the Film

This project presents a new “K-fantasy” aesthetic that combines traditional Korean mythology, K-pop music, and AI-driven visuals.

Using generative AI, the film brings the dokkaebi, a playful guardian spirit from Korean folklore, into the digital world as a K-POP virtual idol.

NEO DOKKEBIZ is the virtual idol group built upon this universe, and this work marks the debut of its first member, SOBOK. The cinematic music video follows a dokkaebi girl who arrives in the city to bring hope to a broken world, telling a story of growth and innocent first love.

ONLY LOVE SURVIVES
In a ruthless world, I still believe love endures.
I created NEO DOKKEBIZ to plant small seeds of hope that might help someone take a step forward again. Through AI, I will continue to tell stories about the timeless human values that lie beyond technology.

”SHIFT” is A psychological urban drama looking at the impact of mental health within the Black British Community

Director – Larissa Hope: ” This story will always be important as it’s relevant to the struggles of Black British Males and will remain timeless for as long as we, as humans, are battling mental health conditions that are influenced by our environment.”

Director – Hannah Silver: “There has been a lot of progress in discussions around mental health over the last few years, but we are still so far from where we need to be. Open conversations about mental health often lack a focus on the communities which are disproportionately affected by institutionalisation.”
