It’s already after 10 o’clock in the evening when Xuemei and her son finally got the 24-hour nucleic acid health code and reached home. Xuemei suddenly received a call from the leader that the company would be under quarantine in the early morning tomorrow so she has to go back to the office to get the computer immediately.
Xuemei tried hard to persuade her son to go to the office together and managed to call a taxi. However, the driver refused to take them to Tianhai District for fear of being under quarantine. Xuemei and her son had to catch the last train of the subway. When they arrived at the company, it was after midnight. They rushed downstairs the moment they got the computer. But then Xuemei found that no matter how she tried getting downstairs, she couldn’t get out of the place and she was stuck on the 20th floor. What’s worse, her son disappeared.
