The play Dali’s Dream originally premiered Off-Broadway at the Gene Frankel Theatre and was warmly received by audiences and theatre critics. The film version of the play was made specially for the exhibition at the Dali Museum, Florida, St. Petersburg on the occasion of the celebration of the 120th anniversary of the famous surrealist.

From his headquarters in Colorado, director, producer and voice of the Movement, Greg Simmons, recalls each step of these three years of development, from the production and distribution of four multi-genre hip hop albums, two additional feature length films, Grammys and Oscars Runs, a 24-episode one hour radio show, and the development of a live touring version of DJ Staunch & the Bigfoots concert/play.

A throughline in Mission Peace 2 is the Staunch Moderates’ core belief that it is imperative to abolish the “us vs. them” and extreme mentalities that have become so prevalent in this era’s belligerent, antagonistic, war-like culture of politics, not only here in the US but also across the globe—and the Staunch Moderates’ goals to lower the temperature. Simmons argues that best way to do this is through a mindful de-escalation of tempers, attitudes and aggression to again find love and peace through
music and filmed entertainment. Mission Peace 2 employs several iconic liberal and conservative American personalities to suggest we must positively influence our adversaries to do the same for the good of humanity. Peace!
